The following speech was delivered by RISE Mzansi National Leader, Songezo Zibi, at the RISE Mzansi People’s Rally in Ruimsig Stadium, Johannesburg, where over 5,000 volunteers, supporters, organizers, and leaders gathered. Songezo Zibi addressed the crowd, highlighting the remarkable journey of RISE Mzansi over the past year and the urgent need for new leadership in South Africa. He emphasized that the old leaders are out of touch, corrupt, and lack fresh ideas. Zibi praised the commitment of RISE Mzansi supporters, who have given up jobs and time to support the movement, and now stand poised to bring real hope and change to the country.
RISE Mzansi has a clear vision and actionable plans to address the critical issues facing South Africa. From ensuring safety and reducing the murder rate to creating jobs and improving basic services, RISE Mzansi is dedicated to transforming South Africa within a generation. Zibi called on all South Africans to rise together, choosing hope over fear and action over apathy. He urged voters to support RISE Mzansi in the upcoming election to achieve a safe, prosperous, equal, and united South Africa.
