RISE Mzansi urges President Ramaphosa to prioritize school safety in the State of the Nation Address, citing a surge in violence and teenage pregnancies. They advocate for proper training and tools for School Governing Bodies, Principals, and Safety Committees, emphasizing the need for policy enforcement, safety audits, engagement with communities, and robust reporting systems.

We are RISING for Mzansi on Saturday, 20 January 2024 at the Heartfelt Area to launch The People's Manifesto. We travelled, listened, engaged and co-created this manifesto with South Africans. The People's Manifesto document details our action- orientated commitments. It is truly a manifesto created by the people, for the people.

RISE Mzansi is calling on all South Africans to tell us, who they want as their representatives in the National Assembly and the nine Provincial Legislatures.
