Just days after the announcement of 200-days without rolling blackouts, South Africans, especially in Gauteng, are now being faced by another man-made, preventable, and persistent water crisis. What was previously an occasional, yet still unacceptable, occurrence, now persists, with some communities going for several days with dripping tips at best and dry taps in the worst cases. This indicates that municipalities are either doing nothing or do not know what to do.
