Reflecting the country's diversity, the 19 lists feature a balanced representation of women and men, varied skills, geographical spread, and age groups.
Highlighting a commitment to youth leadership, Lawrence Manaka (21) and Thelo Botlhoko (72) are among the youngest and eldest candidates respectively. Noteworthy leaders include Vuyiswa Ramokgopa (38), Axolile Notywala (35), and Nonkululeko Hlongwane-Mhlongo (36), positioned as Premier Candidates for Gauteng, Western Cape, and KwaZulu-Natal.
These leaders, drawn from legal, accounting, engineering, public service, and business backgrounds, aim to bring fresh perspectives to South African politics, promising accountability and community-focused governance.
